Following the BBC and Voice of America, Burkina Faso's media regulator (CSC) has decided to suspend TV5Monde and access to its website, as well as those of six other international media outlets: Deutsche Welle, Ouest-France, Le Monde, Apanews, The Guardian, and Agence Ecofin.
The CSC has suspended these media outlets "until further notice," all accused of broadcasting a report accusing the Burkinabe army of killings.
Reporters Without Borders (RSF) condemns "serious and abusive decisions that illustrate a worrying deterioration in press freedom."
