From May 25 to 31, 2024, Douala will host the second edition of the Cameroon International Audiovisual Exhibition (SINAC).
This event is organized by Yolande Bodiong, a well-known and highly regarded producer in Cameroon, founder of the MARABOO agency, and organizer of major events such as the Cameroon Television Awards.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Communication and the City of Douala, SINAC will address the theme "African Digital Audiovisual: What Opportunities for Growth?"
Created after the demise of DISCOP ABIDJAN, which had become the must-attend event for audiovisual professionals over the years, SINAC aims to be a platform for exchange and opportunities for the African audiovisual sector in the digital age. It aspires to "propelled the Cameroonian and African audiovisual sector toward new growth prospects" and to make Cameroon the new hub of the audiovisual industry.
Conferences, master classes, workshops, and round tables are on the agenda for this event, which welcomes many prominent figures from the African audiovisual industry, such as Robert Brazza, Cheick Yvahne, Patrick Fandio, Yves de Mbella, Fati, Mactar Sylla, and others.
