Canal+ Advertising has just signed a partnership agreement with the PATHE SUD cinema in Abidjan, giving it exclusive rights to market advertising space in the complex's six theaters to its clients.
Launched in April 2024, the Pathé Cap Sud cinema in Abidjan has six theaters, including two VIP theaters, with a total of 1,050 seats.
The effectiveness of cinema advertising is well established: with audiences captive while waiting for the film to start, attendance and attention to the messages broadcast are maximized, allowing for unparalleled memorization (75%) thanks to the quality of the sound and image broadcast on the big screen.
Furthermore, the short duration of advertising spots (10 minutes) also promotes memorization and therefore the effectiveness of the advertising.
Cinema also complements television very well in terms of
audience reached.
The rates offered by CANAL+ADVERTISING enable affordable campaigns:
30-second spots broadcast before each screening for one week represents 210 spots at a total cost of €2,000 (1,312,000 CFA francs).
