Death of Éric Didia, better known by his nickname "Roro."

The Ivorian audiovisual landscape is plunged into sadness following the death of Éric Didia, better known by his nickname "Roro." An iconic figure in radio and television in Côte d'Ivoire, Roro passed away during the night of Thursday, June 5 to Friday, June 6, 2025, in Abidjan, after a long battle with illness.

Known for his warm voice, professionalism, and ability to bring together all generations around his shows, Éric Didia left his mark on Nostalgie, Ivoire FM, and most recently Life TV, notably with his hit program "Les histoires de Roro" (Roro's Stories). 

The Ivorian media world has thus lost one of its most iconic voices. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, loved ones, and all those who accompanied him with love and devotion.

He brought with him a unique energy made up of joy, generosity, enthusiasm, and above all, talent.
