The ranking of Ivorian channels according to their number of Facebook subscribers remains unchanged at the end of 2024 compared to the end of 2023.
NCI remains in the lead with 3.7 million Facebook subscribers, far ahead of its competitors. The channel, which saw the strongest growth in 2023 compared to 2022, has done it again with an additional 500,000 subscribers in one year.
LA 3 continues to lead Life TV and has gained 300,000 new subscribers, while the long-established channels RTI1 and RTI2 remain far behind in terms of both subscriber numbers and new subscriber growth.
Life TV, in third place, nevertheless held its ground by gaining the same number of new subscribers (+500,000) as NCI, even though the gap between the two channels remains significant (1.6 million).
A+ IVOIRE, in fourth place, also gained 300,000 subscribers in one year.
Overall, the Facebook pages of the three RTI channels (La 3, RTI1, and RTI2) have a combined total of 3.7 million followers, the group's official page has 2.6 million followers, and the RTI Info page has 1.7 million followers.
Although not an audience indicator, the number of Facebook subscribers is a good indicator of a television channel's popularity and influence among a country's population, as well as the interest it generates.
