On Tuesday, January 28, RFI announced the finalists for the 2025 RFI Discovery Award, which has been promoting new musical talent from the African continent since 1981.
The 10 finalists for the 2025 edition:

The public is invited to vote on RFI MUSIQUE until February 16 to choose their favorite artist, who will count as one vote on the jury.
The winner will be announced on February 18, following a meeting of a jury of experts*, chaired by Angélique Kidjo, a leading figure in international music. The winner will receive a prize of €10,000 (to support their creative work), a concert broadcast on RFI, and a tour of Africa, in partnership with the Institut français.
