Organized by Balafon Media, the 7even Awards recognize the best works and most promising artists each year.
These awards aim to highlight Cameroonian talent, encourage film production, and create an event that is a must-attend for film professionals and enthusiasts.
Twenty-six awards will be presented on December 18, covering almost all aspects of filmmaking, from directing to editing, including actors, sound, and more, for both feature films and TV and web series. An award for documentaries and another for animated films will also be presented, as well as a Balafon d'Honneur and a Balafon Spécial.
The call for entries to participate in this competition is now open and will close on October 12.

The 7evenAwards will take place a few weeks after the LFC Awards, which will celebrate their 8th edition in early November 2025 and have the same objective: to promote Cameroonian cinema.
The 10th edition of the Sotigui Awards will also take place in early November in Ouagadougou and will honor African actors and actresses and those from the diaspora.
