LES NOUVEAUX BOSS, TV5 Monde's new flagship program

At the Back-to-School Conference, TV5 Monde presented its new flagship program, "LES NOUVEAUX BOSS" (The New Bosses), which aims to showcase African youth.

This program will follow the journey of entrepreneurs from across the continent who will be supported in the realization of their projects by four mentors: Claude Borna, Managing Director of the Sémé City Development Agency in Benin; A'Salfo, leader of the group Magic System – Ivory Coast, Nicole SULU, founder of the Makutano business network -DRC, and Yassine Laghzaoui, who heads UMP6 Ventures in Morocco.

1,000 candidates responded to the call for applications, 40 projects were selected, and 16 were invited to a residency where mentors supported them and prepared them for the final stage. The 10 finalists will have the opportunity to convince an international jury of investors and could win up to €500,000 to turn their project into reality.

This flagship program will enjoy very high exposure as it will be broadcast on TV5 Monde Afrique, of course, but also on all other TV5 channels and on TV5Monde+.

"LES NOUVEAUX BOSS" is a TV5 Monde and WeMake Productions co-production, supported by the Alliance des Patronats Francophones, the French African Foundation, and BPI France.

TV5 Monde thus demonstrates that young people, and particularly young Africans, remain at the heart of its concerns.
