New branding, new sound identity, new logo, new news studio, new programs, and above all, new energy driven by Kim Younes, who was appointed president of TV5 Monde just one year ago: TV5 Monde's 2025 fall conference, held on September 30, was marked by dynamism, modernization, and innovation.
For its logo, TV5MONDE has abandoned the institutional blue that has been its trademark since its inception, opting instead for a range of colors—including blue—that evoke its presence on five continents. The visual design, created by the Gédéon agency and based on the idea of weaving, embodies the concept of cultural cross-fertilization in a colorful and contemporary way.
The audio identity fulfills the same need to showcase the cultural richness of the French-speaking world, which is summed up nicely in its new tagline: TV5 Monde, there's always more to discover.
But the new features are not limited to visual and audio elements; they also apply to programs and digital media:
- New set, new segments to better decipher the news, and original commentary (Let's be frank and tell it like it is) for "64'" presented by Mohamed Kaci on weekdays and Estelle Martin on weekends.
- "LES NOUVEAUX BOSS" (The New Bosses), which will follow the journey of entrepreneurs from across the continent who are being supported in the realization of their projects by four mentors.
- "LA GRANDE GALERIE FRANCOPHONE," the first event dedicated to Francophone art, in partnership with the Louvre and Condé Nast.
This weekly program, hosted by Ali Badou alongside his columnists and guests, aims to highlight works from the French-speaking world and celebrate art.
- Generation F, a 20×26 documentary series, will focus on the heirs of the French Touch. Richard Orlinski will meet French-speaking creators based in Dakar, London, and Montreal.
- Launch of TV5MONDE EDU, a platform for learning and teaching French offering a range of services promoting the French language.
- Launch of "C' Carré," a 100% digital media outlet for young French speakers around the world, represented by Lea Martin and Amira Mahfoudi.
- Evolution and growth of TV5monde+, which will bring together all of TV5Monde's video content
- TV5Monde is also strengthening its presence in sports, as it will be broadcasting the upcoming African Cup of Nations, which will be held at the end of the year in Morocco.
Present in more than 200 countries, TV5MONDE, under the leadership of its new president, is affirming and modernizing its unique identity through all these elements: a generalist, French-language, contemporary, cosmopolitan, and multicultural channel.
