HACA terminates contract with KANTAR TNS-MB

On December 17, 2025, the High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HACA) issued a press release informing all players in the audiovisual and advertising market (TV and radio publishers, advertisers, agencies, and advertising sales houses) that it had "terminated its service contract with KANTAR TNS-MB for the design, implementation, and operation of the national audience measurement system for audiovisual media in Côte d'Ivoire. This decision is part of the management and organization of the reference systems under the responsibility of the HACA, in accordance with its legal missions of supervising and regulating the audiovisual sector."

As a reminder, at the beginning of the year, the HACA selected KANTAR following a rigorous selection process. Results for May, June, July, August, and September have been published. Those for October have not been released.

In its press release, the HACA states that "the necessary measures are being implemented to ensure the continuity, consistency, and credibility of the national audience measurement system, in accordance with the applicable methodological, ethical, and regulatory standards. The HACA remains fully committed to working alongside stakeholders in the audiovisual and advertising sectors and will keep them informed of developments relating to

the future organization of the audience measurement system.
