Côte d’Ivoire : lancement de la version francophone de la série MTV Shuga

La fondation Staying Alive de la chaine américaine MTV va lancer la première version francophone de la série « MTV Shuga ».

Cette série télévisée africaine est une série sortie en 2009, tournée dans les villes de Nairobi et Lagos. Au-delà des intrigues, MTV Shuga vise à sensibiliser la jeunesse africaine sur des sujets tels que la drogue et la sexualité.

MTV Staying Alive est une initiative internationale lancée par MTV, chaine musicale américaine appartenant au groupe Viacom, visant à encourager la prévention du VIH par la création de contenu audiovisuel et l’organisation d’événements.

Paola Audrey, consultante camerounaise curatrice de la Newsletter Africa Digest, a été nommée Responsable du marketing et des partenariats de la fondation en charge du projet. La série Shuga sera produite par la société sénégalaise Keewu.
